If you have an urgent medical problem which cannot wait until the surgery re-opens please call the NHS 111 Service by dialling 111.

NHS 111 is free to call from both landlines and mobiles.

When you call the NHS 111 Service you’ll be asked some questions about your symptoms so that you can be directed to the local service that can help you best.

If, for any reason, you are unable to access NHS 111 by dialling 111, please call 020 3402 1111 instead. Calls to this number are charged at your network’s standard rates.

Urgent Care Walk-in Centre

Hounslow Urgent Care Centre is located next to the main entrance of West Middlesex Hospital. The centre is staffed by experienced GPs and nurses, healthcare assistants and other healthcare practitioners.

The centre is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and treats all minor injuries and illnesses that require urgent and immediate treatment. You will be assessed and treated in order of the priority of your condition.

This is an urgent care service and should only be used if you require urgent medical attention and cannot be seen by your registered GP. If your condition is not urgent and immediate, you will be referred back to your GP. They will help you make an appointment.
Hounslow Urgent Care Centre has wheelchair access throughout the centre and facilities are available for those with hearing problems and the centre can also provide interpreting services if required.

Hounslow Urgent Care Centre is commissioned by NHS Hounslow. The centre is operated by Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust.

Walk-in Centre

For minor injuries you can attend Teddington Memorial Minor Injuries Unit, which is in Hampton Road, Teddington. This is open from 07:00 to 22:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00 to 21:00 at weekends and bank holidays.

Your Local Pharmacist

Your local pharmacist will be able to give you free health advice at any time – you don’t need an appointment. Many pharmacies operate extended hours on a rota basis.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
